Miriam’s amazing energy comes from her close relationship and walk with the almighty God. Her commitment to her family and friends is second to none. She is a wife, mother and grandmother of thirteen grandchildren. Holding a BA, specialising in Primary and Early Childhood Education, Miriam is well aware of the need to provide young readers with the opportunity to develop through their imagination.
She has broad creative abilities, encompassing children's literature, poetry, voice, dance, choreography, piano, musical composition and lyrics, utilised in local and overseas productions from the Sydney Opera House to the desert of Qumran in Israel.
Two Children’s Books – Released in 2021
A nice start to 2021, Miriam released her book, ‘A Dragon And A Princes’’ on Amazon (Aus) and Amazon (U.S.) Available on the Kindle and Paperback. The message from this story, from Miriam is that “friendship and love go hand in hand, so dream your dreams and understand, that odd couples are just like you and me, we can all live together in harmony”. The book is beautifully illustrated by Greta Holak, a painter and nature enthusiast, Miriam and Greta have also been friends for many years and drew upon the power of their strong friendship to bring this vibrant, joyful story to life.
Miriam’s second book, that was just released is an audible book, titled ‘Eli the Elephant and Mango the Tiger’, written and performed by Miriam, who is a brilliant story teller. Plus you have the amazing sounds of the jungle, with the animals. An added bonus is the ‘Elephant Samba Tiger Tango’ (Song), at the end of the story, which is sung by the talented Miriam herself. Miriam has produced and performed five CD's of her own songs, poetry and music which have aired on radio program 2NBC 90.1 FM and has played the role of Yente, The Matchmaker in the Fiddler on the Roof, twice at Seymore Centre and Moriah College. Honours in pianoforte from the Conservatorium in Sydney and to top it all off she is
also a yoga teacher.
